RESOURCES (replaces Hope for the Alcoholic assignment in Module 6)

• List common signs of drug abuse, explain the difference between social use, dependence, and addiction.
• Include resources where adults/teenagers with a drug problem can turn for help.
• Explain the types of help drug dependent or addicted adult/teens can receive in the Duval/Nassau/Clay/St. Johns County.
• Include a list of local resources (facilities).

Complete an analysis of the key internal factors that have implications for successful implementation of your organization’s strategy and goals/objectives. Submit your work in your assignment folder in the form of an approximate 2,000-word double-spaced APA-formatted paper. Your paper should address these topics:

1. Given the company’s Vision, Mission and Objectives (VMO), identify the company’s core competencies and assess which ones are rare, costly, or not easily imitated. Discuss how they are related to and critical to the VMO execution.
2. Present a summary of your organization’s strengths and weaknesses. Submit the SWOT format in Table form and add in some narrative to discuss the strengths and weaknesses in more detail. Explain in your discussion (not in the table) why you selected them and how they relate to the VMO and organization strategy. Management Overview

Do some research and answer the following critical thinking questions from this week’s readings in an essay format. Ensure you have a good introduction, body, and conclusion in your essay. In your analysis, cite a minimum of three (3) references from different sources (the textbook can be one source).

1. Describe the formal, three-part definition of management and explain the most important part of the management definition and why you chose that part.
2. Mintzberg’s study in the 1960s came up with three important findings about a manager’s routine. Identify the three findings and describe ways that technology and social media have changed the roles of managers since Mintzberg’s 1960 study.
3. Analyze the two overarching theoretical perspectives about management and how they are applied to organizations. Also, explain the three viewpoints that each one covers.

Your submission should be a minimum of two (2), double-spaced, full pages of analysis with proper reference citation per current APA guidelines.

This week you will be creating the body of the paper. Your paper should include the following items:

• 5-7 pages that explain how technology has been used to improve healthcare delivery and information management within the focus area you selected in Module 01. (radiology)

You’re a member of the financial services department at Benson Regional Medical Center. The chief financial officer and chair of the capital budgeting committee, Dana Foster, has requested that you perform some capital analysis of two proposed patient service programs.

1. Start by downloading the Week 8 Discussion Spreadsheet [XLSX].
2. Use the spreadsheet to find the information needed to complete a net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and a discounted payback period for proposed Programs A and B.
3. Once you have completed the capital budgeting analyses, prepare a narrated PowerPoint presentation that provides:    
   1. A brief description of the proposed programs (A & B)*.
   2. The cash flows projections for each option from Year 0 through Year 5.
   3. The results and interpretation of the discounted payback period.
   4. Net present value (NPV).
   5. Internal rate of return (IRR).
