all papers need to be in APA format.

However, the instructions for this assignment clearly state in bold print to “not” write the paper in a series of “questions & answers” and to write it as a standard scholarly paper.

This Unit covers Chapters 10, 11, & 15 in the textbook on “Becoming an Effective Leader”, “Motivating Others, and “Enhancing Ethical Behavior”.   Three critically important roles for HR professionals and leaders.  This unit is a logical follow up to unit III that focused on the dynamics of teams and the conflict between generations.  Unit V follows up discussing diversity and that is directly related to teams that will be comprised of a diverse set of members.  This Unit has a “Case Study Paper” and Journal post.   Be sure to follow all the instructions for the paper as explained in the syllabus, as well as the below announcement explaining requirements for the papers and let me know if you have any questions. A common error many students make for this assignment is to approach this paper as an essay and use a series of “Questions & Answers” that are brief by listing the question and then under it the response. Do not write it in a series of Q & A.  The paper needs to be in the standard scholarly paper style and format as noted in the above notes with an introduction, body, and conclusion.  All sources need to be in APA format and the paper put together as explained on pages 13 -15 in the CSU Citation Guide.  The paper also has to follow the standard style of scholarly college writing with an “introduction”, “body” and “conclusion”.   The “introduction” needs to open the paper to briefly introduce the players and background of the case being reviewed.  The “body” goes into detail to address each point and provides an analysis with your thoughts and comments regarding the case.  This is also where the “who, what, where, when, why, & how” questions are addressed.   The “conclusion” summarizes and provides any final comments or thoughts.   Be sure to use full APA formatting for the paper.  The attached “Article Review” tips file also applies to a case study paper.  You want to model your paper as broken down in the file on tips for papers and be thorough in addressing what happened, why, and the consequences of what happened from all perspectives, especially Rajah. Let me know if you have a question.
