The recruitment of employees is a critical part of the HR function and it is also been a function that has changed vastly for many organizations.

Research Recruitment of employees and explain/identify:

  • Strategic recruiting regarding EEO, Diversity, Gender-Neutral, and Generational Differences.
  • How technology and social media affect recruiting for employers and candidates.
  • Advantages and/or disadvantages of internal and external recruiting methods.

Paper Requirements:

  • Write a 3-4 page double-spaced, 12 font, and APA formatted paper that addresses the items above.
  • Do not use first person. This paper isn’t your opinion. Your paper is guided by your research. 
  • The 3-4 pages is counted from the introduction through the conclusion. It does not include the title page or reference page.
  • Include a title page properly formatted in APA. 
  • You Do NOT need to include an abstract
  • Make sure to include an Introduction to your paper. Your introduction needs to include a strong preview sentence.
  • Create headingsin the body of the paper (between the Introduction and Conclusion) that are named based on the content in that section of the paper. For example, your headings could be the trends you identified.   • Include a Reference page. You must include a minimum of 5 references (textbook and 4 scholarly peer-reviewed journal articles from Welder Library E-Resources).

You are a seasoned and top industry training consultant for many industries. You have received an invitation from a very large North American freight transportation company that has over 32,500 miles of routes in twenty-eight states and three Canadian provinces. The railroad company hauls agricultural, consumer, and industrial products and coal with twenty-five intermodal facilities and has access to forty ports. The company owns and operates approximately 8,000 locomotives and employs over 41,000 people. The corporation acknowledges that the highest quality safety is an inviolate objective. The corporation wants well-trained employees who share its vision for an injury- and accident-free workplace and who are willing to care for and protect one another. At the present time, and thanks to the employees’ commitment, a carefully maintained network, equipment, and well-prepared communities, the organization is a safety leader in the rail industry. It wants to establish a new process named “Approaching Others About Safety” (AOAS). This will be a training program for all railway employees. One of the goals of the program is for its employees to be confident about giving feedback to each other about safe behavior and avoiding unsafe, hazardous, and risky situations.

Therefore, all the employees need to learn the value of providing feedback when they see unsafe, dangerous, or perilous behaviors and situations. This comprehends “positively” recognizing and diagnosing when someone is working safe and sound . . . or correcting his or her actions when an employee perceives that another employee is at risk. The organization’s preliminary thought is that training should concentrate on the types of exposure that tend to result in most injuries. This may include walking and the path of travel around trains, rails, and equipment. Also, pinch points between railway cars and climbing or descending locomotives and railway cars must be included.

Tasks:

  • Explain your understanding of the learning process in general terms.

Process   Mapping:   Students are required to research an existing health care organization of   their choice. In your research you should identify a quality improvement (QI)   initiative that will improve the way patient care is delivered at the   facility. The QI can be the result of organizational need, accreditation   standards, and/or regulatory requirements. 

Instructions:   Clearly state the specific QI objective. Provide a brief description   articulating why the QI is important and how the quality of patient care will   be improved as a result of the QI. A sound research study includes all the steps highlighted in previous weeks: reviewing existing literature, focusing a research question, choosing a qualitative or quantitative method for answering the question, designing the study including selection of data collection procedures and/or measures, procedures used, data analysis plan, and findings. In addition, the study commonly discusses how ethical concerns were addressed and acknowledges the limitations of the study. For this assignment, you review a published research study with two purposes in mind:

  • Comparing the content of the article to the recommended content of sections for a research study.
