People are using their mobile phone browsers more and more every day to find information about businesses, make product decisions and purchases, and even determine the quality of a business based on what they can find online.  Write a seven to 10 (7 – 10) page paper in which you: 

  • How to Choose a Mobile Web Development Option.
  • Research and discuss effective use of screen real estate.
  • Compare and contrast different mobile platforms (i.e. Android, iOS).
  • The tools of mobile interface design.
  • Discuss mobile information design.
  • Choosing mobile web options.

Modify your program from Learning Journal Unit 7 to read dictionary items from a file and write the inverted dictionary to a file. You will need to decide on the following:

Adaptation to Cloud Computing

For this project, select an organization that has leveraged Cloud Computing technologies in an attempt to improve profitability or to give them a competitive advantage.  Research the organization to understand the challenges that they faced and how they intended to use Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges.  The paper should include the following sections each called out with a header.

• Company Overview:  The section should include the company name, the industry they are in and a general overview of the organization.
• Challenges: Discuss the challenges the organization had that limited their profitability and/or competitiveness and how they planned to leverage Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges.
• Solution:  Describe the organization’s Cloud Computing implementation and the benefits they realized from the implementation.  What was the result of implementing Cloud Computing?  Did they meet their objectives for fall short?
• Conclusion:  Summarize the most important ideas from the paper and also make recommendations or how they might have achieved even greater success.

Requirements:

The paper must adhere to APA guidelines including Title and Reference pages.  There should be at least three scholarly sources listed on the reference page.  Each source should be cited in the body of the paper to give credit where due.  Per APA, the paper should use a 12-point Time New Roman font, should be double spaced throughout, and the first sentence of each paragraph should be indented .5 inches.  The body of the paper should be 3 – 5 pages in length.  The Title and Reference pages do not count towards the page count requirements.

Start   Access.Open the file Student_Access_5G_Tuition_Fees_AS.accdb   downloaded with this project.

 

Create   a new query in Design view using the Categories and Students tables. From the   Categories table, add the Category field. From the Students table, add the   Student ID, Age Group and Monthly Tuition fields (in that order).

 

In   the design grid, in the first blank field column, type Annual Tuition: [Monthly Tuition]*12.   Run the query.

 

View   the query in Design view. In the design grid in the first blank field column,   type Total Cost: [Annual Tuition]+[Competition Fee].   Run the query and adjust all column widths to view data. Save the query as Total Cost. Close the query.
