For this week’s project, you are to first conduct an Internet search on “How to Secure Home Wifi.” With those results, you are to create your own tutorial that you could give to your family or friends on how to configure your home wifi to be secure. Your tutorial should include step-by-step instructions on how to do it. Include technical settings for a home router as necessary. Images and graphics showing steps are encouraged. 
Any information or picture taken from a reference must be cited. Also, you must be able to explain your instructions, so no copying from your Internet reference.

CMIS 102 6383 Introduction to Problem Solving and Algorithm Design

 The third assignment involves writing a Python program to compute the cost of carpeting a room. Your program should prompt the user for the width and length in feet of the room and the quality of carpet to be used. A choice between three grades of carpeting should be given. You should decide on the price per square foot of the three grades on carpet. Your program must include a function that accepts the length, width, and carpet quality as parameters and returns the cost of carpeting that room. After calling that function, your program should then output the carpeting cost.

Your program should include the pseudocode used for your design in the comments. Document the values you chose for the prices per square foot of the three grades of carpet in your comments as well.

You are to submit your Python program as a text file (.py) file. In addition, you are also to submit a test plan in a Word document or a .pdf file. 15% of your grade will be based on whether the comments in your program include the pseudocode and define the values of your constants, 70% on whether your program executes correctly on all test cases and 15% on the completeness of your test report.

You will need to research the purchase of 50 new PCs, with the requirement to replace all existing desktops with laptops. Your recommendation must account for multiple external monitors, additional peripherals via USB 3.0, physical security mechanisms, and the capability to allow the end user to quickly disconnect from the office environment.

In Section 1, you will conduct research based on the Corporate PC Refresh Documentation. You should carefully document any assumptions made (e.g., how you analyzed the requirement for upgrading monitors, peripherals devices, etc.). 

In Section 2, you will use a configurator to detail the specifications you will provide your recommended device model(s)

Create an interface called Player

  

Create an interface called Player. The interface has an absract method called play() that displays a message describing the meaning of “play” to the class. Create classes called Child, Musician, and Actor that all implement Player. Create an application that demonstrates the use of the classes. Save the files as Player.java. Child.java, Actor.java. Musician.java, and UsePlayer.java

  • Your plan should include the following, this is not the entire list.
    • Network Switch Configurations
    • IP Addressing table and assignments/Subnetting strategy
    • Routing Tables (3 minimum routes/remember this is a remote office)
