A unique responsibility of the PMO is assessing and elevating enterprise project management ability (competency, capability, and maturity), which is a function of PMO project monitoring. Address the following discussion topic key elements:

• Differentiate between the PMO PM assessment domains of competency, capability, and maturity.

This week you were introduced to the three (3) conditions that must be in place in order to show performance management. Analyze the use of these tools using your workplace as an example. In addition, expand upon how the three conditions are applied and how they may be used for workplace improvement.  

Part A

 Define and discuss INTERNAL vs. EXTERNAL recruitment practices. What are the tradeoffs of each approach? Include in your discussion an example of a situation in which each of these approaches might be particularly effective.

Part B

Discuss an example of when internal recruitment would not be effective or feasible. Then, provide an example of a situation in which an external candidate should not be considered for a position. Explain your opinions.
