Please assist with a study guide that covers the following IT topics. Instructions and rubric included in the attachment.

1). Download and install the “R” Programming tool (CRAN) onto your computer. First install the “Basic” version of “R”, then (2) install the “R” Studio. (3). Download and install the MySQL plug-in for Excel onto your computer. (4). Download and install the Python programming tool onto your computer. Verify successful installation of all tools by attaching one screen shot of each that display your completion of each software installation. A total of  four screen shots (2 for “R”, 1 for MySQL, and 1 for Python) is expected. Save the screen shots as a MS Word document (*.docx).

Either click the “Write Submission” link below and directly paste your screen shots into this forum OR add the screen shots as a Microsoft Word document attachment (Mac users, please remember to append the “.docx” extension to the filename.). Also, please summarize in 1 -6 lines (in the Comment box) how the installation went for you. That is, what problems, if any, did you have and how were they solved?  What things went right for you during the installation?

• Data validation can occur on the client or server within the client or server model. Identify the major advantages of using JavaScript to perform validation on the client computer. Describe a scenario when validation needs to be performed on both the client and the server.
• If you believe that form elements can help with validations, describe the form elements in detail. If you do not believe that form elements can help with validations, recommend numbers and other guidelines that you can follow to help with validations.
• Flesh out your thoughts and interact with your classmates. Post your initial response by Wednesday each week and then return on a couple of other days to see what’s going on with the discussions. The more you interact, the more you learn from your peers, and the more you share with them about what you know. You will also be showing your instructor what you have picked up.

Research Project

Develop a disaster recovery plan for an organization. There are many different templates available online for you to use as reference and guidance. Your plan should cover the following sections (these sections detail the elements in a DR plan in the sequence defined by industry compliance standards ISO 27031 and ISO 24762): 

1. Important: This section should summarize key action steps (such as where to assemble employees if forced to evacuate the building) and list key contacts with contact information for ease of authorizing and launching the plan.
2. Introduction
3. Roles and Responsibilities
4. Incident Response
5. Plan Activation
6. Document History
7. Procedures

Your paper should meet the following requirements:

• Be approximately six pages in length, not including the required cover page and reference page. (Remember, APA is double spaced)
• Follow APA 7 guidelines. Your paper should include an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.
• Support your answers with the readings from at least four scholarly journal articles to support your positions, claims, and observations, in addition to your textbook.
• Be clearly and well-written, concise, and logical, using excellent grammar and style techniques. You are being graded in part on the quality of your writing.

Internet-related crime occurs every minute. Cybercriminals steal millions of dollars with near impunity. For everyone that is captured nearly 10,000 or not captured. For every one successful prosecuted in a court of law, 100 get off without punishment or with a warning. Why is it so difficult to prosecute cybercriminals?

Please make your initial post and two response posts substantive. A substantive post will do at least TWO of the following:

• Ask an interesting, thoughtful question pertaining to the topic
• Answer a question (in detail) posted by another student or the instructor
• Provide extensive additional information on the topic
• Explain, define, or analyze the topic in detail
• Share an applicable personal experience
• Provide an outside source (for example, an article from the UC Library) that applies to the topic, along with additional information about the topic or the source (please cite properly in APA 7)
• Make an argument concerning the topic.

At least one scholarly source should be used in the initial discussion thread. Be sure to use information from your readings and other sources from the UC Library. Use proper citations and references in your post.

In 500 words or more, consider this statement: For cloud computing to become multi-jurisdictional, it must be separated from politics.

Use at least three sources. Use the Research Databases available from the Danforth Library not Google. Include at least 3 quotes from your sources enclosed in quotation marks and cited in-line by reference to your reference list.  Example: “words you copied” (citation) These quotes should be one full sentence not altered or paraphrased. Cite your sources using APA format. Use the quotes in your paragaphs.   Stand alone quotes will not count toward the 3 required quotes.

Students will create a Disaster Recovery Plan for either the organization they work for or one they wish to work for in the future.  The plan will follow the template/example provided.

**Even though this is a technical document, for academic purposes, all sources should be cited and referenced.

***Student may modify some of the sections per the company they have selected but all students will need to complete a DR Plan for the Portfolio Requirement.  

****SafeAssign should be turned on and reviewed since it will flag a lot of the common elements but we want to make sure the students are writing the content from scratch.

  You should be REPORTING EVIDENCE and EXAMPLES from what you read.

3. Read your chosen high-quality sources of related information.
4. state your three sources of information.
5. DESCRIBE each of the three sources of information within a few sentences providing EXAMPLES.
6. SUMMARIZE with three things about the topic that you want to remember forever.

 Compare different Ensemble methods with appropriate examples.
