2. Two (2) paragraphs (350 Words total) discussion response to main DQ questions. In addition, respond with two (2) students/Peers to Peer (identify peers) or two classmates. Project Charter:  (see Slide 24, CH03.ppt) Project name, purpose, and key participants are important. You can list for example what each member brings into the table (who has expertise or interest on what?). You can also include other relevant information. Make sure that every member has enough exposure to all phases of software development.

Project Scope Document: (see Slide 28, CH03.ppt) The project description must include functional requirements: list of functions the system will perform for the users. Also, list system capabilities, and other relevant information. The project scope must be proportional with the team-size. It should include non-trivial functions that require use of advanced data structures, algorithms, and/or new technology.

Project Schedule:  Present your schedule in a Gantt Chart with milestones. You need to be realistic. You start your project today, you complete planning and analysis phases by the end of this semester. You continue your project in Spring 2022 in CSCI 440 course. You will complete design and implementation phases in Spring 2022. Please note that we set the date for project completion the first week of May 2022 (if your team plans to take CSCI 440 in Summer 2022, change dates accordingly).

2.      Object-oriented UML models for your project’s REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS that includes the following (see CH05 slides 45-56, and CH07): 

a)      Domain Class Diagrams.

b)      Use Case Diagrams

c)      Activity Diagrams.

d)      System Sequence Diagrams.

e)      State Machine Diagrams (if applicable).

3.      Present your entire power point slides in a video of length not exceeding 20 minutes. Allocate more than half of the time on your UML diagrams in your systems analysis phase. Ideally all team members participate in this video presentation. It can be a recorded ZOOM meeting, for example. Any other similar video presentation is fine.

Questions #1 to #5 will be Question 1 to 5 of Short Answers on page 146.

Part 2 : Algorithm Workbench
Using the same file used from Part 1 above.

We are moving through the capstone quickly. There are a lot of things to complete for this course. One thing we should remember is to do our best. Colossians 3:17(new tab) says, “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016). The Apostle Paul encouraged the church at Colossae to put their whole being into their work and give thanks in all they do. We should be stimulated to do the same in this endeavor.

1. Be sure to address the following prompts in your paper:
   1. The Apostle Paul encouraged the church in Colossae by showing them that Jesus Christ was everything they needed in their lives. How does the sufficiency of Christ in everything we do translate to our modern 21st-century lives?
   2. As you near the end of this program, how does thankfulness play into your progress in the program and your associated experiences? Reflect upon how gratitude and faith have played a role in your studies and life.

This week, you will submit the second project, the Desktop Migration Proposal. Using the requirements analysis your manager provided and the Internet research you conducted, submit your recommendation to the assignment folder. As you are writing your recommendation, ensure your analysis and recommendations align with your manager’s priorities and concerns.

You should carefully document any assumptions made (e.g., how you analyzed the requirement for upgrading monitors, peripherals devices, etc.).

Refer to the HFA Desktop Migration: Corporate PC Refresh Documentation for the company’s needs (requirements). Your justification should clearly indicate how you bridge the gap between the existing desktop specifications and the new machines you recommend.

How Will My Work Be Evaluated?

For this assignment, you are asked by your manager to research the replacement of 50 aging desktop machines with new laptops. Review the business needs from your manager carefully so that you fully appreciate the requirements you must address in selecting the new laptops.

For example, what is significant about the need for “multiple external monitors”? Ask yourself what it takes to connect a laptop to external monitors. What ports are included on your recommended laptop? What kind of cables are required? Can those ports/cables be used with the external monitors? Does the laptop have sufficient graphics capabilities to drive external displays and if so, how many and at what resolution? Follow this same process for all the business needs.

By documenting your choices and the overall recommendation in an effective background report, you are showing how you use your technical knowledge to convey your ideas to others in a professional setting. Your ability to express your findings using the right mix of technical detail in a business context is an important workplace skill.

The following evaluation criteria aligned to the competencies will be used to grade your assignment:

1.1.3: Present ideas in a clear, logical order appropriate to the task.

1.2.3: Explain specialized terms or concepts to facilitate audience comprehension.

1.4.3: Write concise and logical sentences in standard academic English that clarify relationships among concepts and ideas.

This project is a three- to four-page business-oriented proposal should contain the following:

• at least one high-quality graphic
• one or more tables to present information
• at least one online configurator
• your purchase recommendations, specifications, and justification for your choice
• one to two IEEE references

Week 7 Written Assignment/ Final Exam

This week’s journal article focus on the how positive team culture can correct the impact of lagging leadership creativity. Additionally, we discussed how digital transformation leaders in regard to artificial intelligence (AI).  After reviewing the reading, please answer the following questions:

1. What is your definition of AI?  Please explain.
2. What is your opinion of AI, is the technology currently available? Why or why not?
3. Please note at least four AI technologies, explain if they are truly AI or something else.  Thoroughly explain your answer.
4. How is AI perceived as different in various industries and locations? Please explain.

Be sure to use the UC Library for scholarly research. Google Scholar is also a great source for research.  Please be sure that journal articles are peer-reviewed and are published within the last five years.The paper should meet the following requirements:

• 3-5 pages in length (not including title page or references)
• APA guidelines must be followed.  The paper must include a cover page, an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.
• A minimum of five peer-reviewed journal articles.

The writing should be clear and concise.  Headings should be used to transition thoughts.  Don’t forget that the grade also includes the quality of writing. 

Discussion 7.1 Computer Forensics

As a digital forensics examiner, it’s a good idea to build a list of references for information on privacy laws in other countries, which can be useful in cases involving cloud storage.  Using the search term “world privacy laws” look for at least three Web sites with references to laws in other countries.  List the URL for each site and summarize what kind of information it offers, and evaluating its ease of use.

Privacy laws in other countries are an important concern when performing cloud forensics and investigations. You’ve been assigned a case involving PII data stored on a cloud in Australia. Before you start any data acquisition from this cloud, you need to research what you can access under Australian law. For this project, look for information on Australia’s Privacy Principles (APP), particularly Chapter 8: APP 8 – Cross-border disclosure of personal information. Write a 2 to 3 page paper (not including title and reference pages) using APA format summarizing disclosure requirements for getting consent from data owners, and any exceptions allowed by this law.
