The final portfolio project is a three- part activity. You will respond to three separate prompts but prepare your paper as one research paper. Be sure to include at least one UC library source per prompt, in addition to your textbook (which means you’ll have at least 4 sources cited). 

Start your paper with an introductory paragraph.

Prompt 1 “Blockchain” (2-3 pages): Explain the major components of blockchain. Be sure to include how blockchain is affecting a global economy and how you see it growing in the future. 

Prompt 2 “Big Data” (1-2 pages): Describe your understanding of big data and give an example of how you’ve seen big data used either personally or professionally. In your view, what demands is big data placing on organizations and data management technology?  How does big data affect a global economy.

Prompt 3 “Government and Policies” (1-2 pages):  Discuss the role government plays in a global economy.  Also, look at what policies are currently in place and then discussion what policies should be put in place..

Conclude your paper with a detailed conclusion section. 

The paper needs to be approximately six to eight pages long, including both a title page and a references page (for a total of eight to ten pages). Be sure to use proper APA formatting and citations to avoid plagiarism.

Your paper should meet these requirements:

• Follow APA 7 guidelines. Your paper should include an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.

• Be clearly and well-written, concise, and logical, using excellent grammar and style techniques. You are being graded in part on the quality of your writing.

Chapter 1 Paper: Review the Key Lessons from Chapter 1 – Explain the five key lessons and note the importance of each key lesson from chapter 1.  Also, note why is it important to understand these basic concepts.  (Information Technology and Organizational Learning Textbook)

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are designed to address all of the business needs of an organization. Many organizations find ERP systems difficult to implement, and some have abandoned ERP projects due to the cost and time associated with them. For this discussion analyze the role of ERP systems in business and provide a scenario in which an organization would benefit from implementing an ERP system.  Your scenario should include a minimum of three issues impacting the business and an explanation of how an ERP system will address the issues. Your response should also include a minimum of three issues or problems that can arise from implementing the ERP. 

Your initial post should be a minimum of 300 words.

Describe in 500 words discuss the scope of a cloud computing audit for your business.

Use at least three sources. Use the Research Databases available from the Danforth Library not Google. Include at least 3 quotes from your sources enclosed in quotation marks and cited in-line by reference to your reference list.  Example: “words you copied” (citation) These quotes should be one full sentence not altered or paraphrased. Cite your sources using APA format. Use the quotes in your paragaphs.  Stand alone quotes will not count toward the 3 required quotes.

Copying without attribution or the use of spinbot or other word substitution software will result in a grade of 0.

 The vast majority of the population associates Blockchain with cryptocurrency Bitcoin; however, there are many other uses of blockchain; such as Litecoin, Ether, and other currencies. In this discussion, please describe at least two cryptocurrencies with applicable examples. Discuss some similarities and differences. Lastly, discuss if you have any experience using any cryptocurrencies.

6. Education Plan: At least 3 ways that you can maintain your knowledge throughout your degree. Explain why each way would be important to your career (minimum of 3 paragraphs).
7. Budgeting Plan: Explanation as to how you will budget to ensure all future education (should connect to the education plan) as well as future career marketability needs are met. (minimum of 3 paragraphs).
8. Reference Page: Sources should follow APA formatting guidelines with corresponding in-text citations within the body of the portfolio.
