The purpose of the second part of the comprehensive project is to compute financial statement ratios. Based on the Carnival company you selected complete the following:

1. Based on formulas in your textbook, compute the following ratios for two years. You may use Excel to compute your ratios.
   1. Debt ratio
   2. Gross profit margin
   3. Free cash flow
   4. Times interest earned
   5. Accounts receivable turnover
   6. Inventory turnover
2. Prepare a DuPont Analysis of ROE for two years, including computations of
   1. Return on Sales

3. Briefly evaluate the ratio trends. Indicate on your worksheet whether each ratio is:

4. Write a 3-6 page report evaluating trends in all of the above ratios. Discuss whether your company’s profitability, efficiency, liquidity, and solvency are improving or deteriorating. Suggest ways the company can improve the ratios that show problems. The report should be well written with cover page, introduction, the body of the paper (with appropriate subheadings), conclusion, and reference page. References must be appropriately cited.

This week’s journal article was focused on the Complexity of Information Systems Research in the Digital World.  Complexity is increasing as new technologies are emerging every day.  This complexity impacts human experiences.  Organizations are turning to digitally enabled solutions to assist with the emergence of digitalization. Please review the article and define the various technologies that are emerging as noted in the article.  Note how these emerging technologies are impacting organizations and what organizations can to do to reduce the burden of digitalization.Be sure to use the UC Library for scholarly research. Google Scholar is also a great source for research.  Please be sure that journal articles are peer-reviewed and are published within the last five years.The paper should meet the following requirements:

• 3-5 pages in length (not including title page or references)
• APA guidelines must be followed.  The paper must include a cover page, an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.
• A minimum of five peer-reviewed journal articles.

The writing should be clear and concise.  Headings should be used to transition thoughts.  Don’t forget that the grade also includes the quality of writing.

please address the following in a properly formatted research paper:

1. Do you think that ISO 27001 standard would work well in the organization that you currently or previously have worked for? If you are currently using ISO 27001 as an ISMS framework, analyze its effectiveness as you perceive in the organization.

2. Are there other frameworks mentioned has been discussed in the article that might be more effective?

3. Has any other research you uncover suggest there are better frameworks to use for addressing risks?

Your paper should meet the following requirements:

Follow APA 7 guidelines. Your paper should include an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.

Support your answers with the readings from the course and at least two scholarly journal articles to support your positions, claims, and observations, in addition to your textbook. 

Be clearly and well-written, concise, and logical, using excellent grammar and style techniques. You are being graded in part on the quality of your writing.

**DISCUSSION POST**

From your research, discuss whether or not your organization has ISO 27001 certification. Outside of overall protection from cyber-attacks, describe, in detail, some other benefits your organization will achieve in obtaining this certification. If your company does not have this certification, how can they go about obtaining it?

Present your discussion post as if you were presenting to senior leaders of your company.

Identify a network that you are familiar with at home or at work. List at least 3 hardware components. What do they each do? You do not need to cite and reference but you do need to explain how they are used.

Choose your choice of research (Qualitative, Quantitative, or Mixed) describe the benefits of using a research framework in 350 to 400 words in APA writing assignment.

2. Discuss what organizational culture is and how it impacts work productivity.  Also, note how organizational culture impacts the success of innovation implementation.
3. How does culture impact leadership? Can culture be seen as a constraint on leadership?

Describe, in 350 words, an example of a very poorly implemented database that you’ve used or know that illustrates the potential for really messing things up. Explain an analysis of what might have caused the problems and potential solutions for them.
