How would you market a digital health service?

Digital health and technologies are increasingly dominating the healthcare systems. The usability of mobile health applications seen highest use in decays since pre and post COVID-19 occurrence. This assignment goal is to formulate best practices or framework to market digital health service.

Module 6 – How would you market a digital health service?

I very much believe that best practices are still being written in the space of digital health.  I wanted to dedicate this forum to discussing the following issues you personally might see in this space (please provide your own thoughts in around 250-350 words):

1. Are there any items that stood out in the readings for this module?

2. What best practices would you implement to ensure that patients or consumers keep returning to a service? Gamification, increased marketing, or social media are all potential discussion points.

3. How should healthcare organizations present these services to patients?  What should be the “line” between clinical and consumer oriented?

The attach file show highlights on the questions above and should be use along with other sources to complete this assignment.

Ensure best result as possible.

Week Five Assignment

Learn About creating good password security. An IT Security consultant has made three primary recommendations regarding passwords:

  1. Prohibit guessable passwords
    • such as common names, real words, numbers only
    • require special characters and a mix of caps, lower case and numbers in passwords
  2. Reauthenticate before changing passwords
    • user must enter old pw before creating new one
  3. Make authenticators unforgeable
    • do not allow email or user ID as password

Using WORD, write a brief paper of 200-300 words explaining each of these security recommendations.  Do you agree or disagree with these recommendations. Would you change, add or delete any of these?  Add additional criteria as you see necesarry.Note your Safe Assign score. Continue submitting until your Safe Assign score is less than 25. Assignment

Select one American healthcare organization (“covered entity” in HIPAA parlance) that frames your research. Describe the organization, its components assuming it’s a healthcare “system,” its business in general, and any additional descriptive information that will inform your reader about your subject matter.  Describe and define at least one the laws focused on compliance within the healthcare sector that came up during our course. Research the law itself, any legal cases that were based on that law, and the critique of the law that you found through your research. Of course, if your selected covered entity was involved in such litigation, or has published their critique, include that information too.  In addition to compliance laws that directly target healthcare institutions, countless other laws apply to them. Use the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s website to discover whether your selected institution has been awarded intellectual property rights for their trademarks, patents, or IP. Describe whether and how it protects its trade secrets. Describe for your reader some of the most prominent criminal or tort risks that your entity faces; or perhaps has been involved in.  In addition to risks in the realms of criminal or tort law, every organization faces the potential risk of enduring a cyber-attack or other incident that must be followed by a forensics investigation. Keeping the focus on your organization and the healthcare sector, research and discuss an incident or case in which such an institution was compelled to go through the forensic investigation process. There are no sectors exempt from those incidents or cases, regrettably, so be diligent and you will find one to discuss.  Conclude the Portfolio with your overall assessment of whether the legal system—from compliance mandates, to IT, criminal, and tort laws, to forensic investigations—benefits, hurts, or otherwise affects the institution. Assume the role of information security and privacy risk consultant in this section.

  • Provide a 500 word (or 2 pages double spaced) minimum reflection.
  • Use of proper APA formatting and citations. If supporting evidence from outside resources is used those must be properly cited.
  • Share a personal connection that identifies specific knowledge and theories from this course.
  • Demonstrate a connection to your current work environment. If you are not employed, demonstrate a connection to your desired work environment.
  • You should not provide an overview of the assignments assigned in the course. The assignment asks that you reflect how the knowledge and skills obtained through meeting course objectives were applied or could be applied in the workplace.

For the course project, I wanted to build a strong CAD workhorse, as  well as a nice gaming setup.  With the focus on what the PC will be used  for, I would start by setting up the case on a solid workstation and  use ESD protective equipment.

Case:  The case is where the party is happening.  Most of the  components will be housed within the case.  I like the look of the full  tower cases that have a glass side panel. I chose the Dark Base Pro 900  made by be quiet! for these reasons.

Motherboard:  If the case is where the party is happening, the  motherboard would be the host of the party.  The motherboard has the  sockets, expansion slots, ports, and connectors that most of the  components will be installed to. It also holds the CMOS. The I/O shield  would be where most of the input and output devices would be connected.  The motherboard should be installed within the case using the  appropriate standoffs, so the motherboard isn’t in direct contact with  the side of the case.

CPU:  The central processing unit would be the life of the party.  It  handles the core processing tasks given to it by the user.  The CPU  will be placed in the CPU socket of the motherboard.

CPU Cooling Unit:  The CPU’s cooling unit will utilize a heat sink  that will transfer heat from the CPU and away from other components on  the motherboard.  The CPU cooling unit will be placed on top of the CPU  with thermal paste and will most likely be connected to the appropriate  fan pin slot on the motherboard.

RAM: These components will handle the volatile memory and the higher  the GB capacity the smoother the operating experience should be.  RAM  modules should be seated in the appropriate saddles on the motherboard.   Multiple modules could be utilized for more memory as well as  configured in multi-channel modes, so each module communicates with the  CPU at the same time.

Storage:  The SDD, HDD, or both that are installed in the PC will  store the PC’s non-volatile memory.  These storage devices will retain  their data even when the PC is turned off.  I chose a Samsung 970 Evo  Plus SDD for the OS, and that will be plugged into one of the  motherboard’s M.2 slots as well as a SATA port.

OS: The operating system manages the PC and allows the user to input commands to the CPU or other components.

GPU:  The graphics processing unit takes the burden of the display  processing from the CPU and can process the display data much faster  than the CPU. The I/O shield would offer the display ports. Another  extension of this would be a sound card that would handle the audio  processes for the CPU.

Power Supply: The PSU is how the PC receives power.  Components will  either receive electricity from the motherboard or directly from the  PSU.

Monitor: An output device that will present the audio and more  importantly the visual information. The ports that are available on the  I/O shield of the GPU will help determine what cable to use when  connecting the monitor to the PC.

Keyboard and Mouse: These are input devices that would be plugged  into the appropriate port on the I/O shield of the motherboard on the  back of the PC.

The AMD Radeon Pro GPU I selected for my build was by far the most  expensive component.  It was important to me to invest in a quality GPU  because of the design work I would want to do on this PC, and I wanted  to avoid a choppy display.

Summary of a Minimal Ray Tracer

Ray tracing is a technique that has been around for quite a long time. It allows for images to be generated given some mathematical description of objects in the scene, eye placement and viewport definition. As rays are cast through pixels in the image area, math calculations are used to determine which objects are collided with and the resulting color values associated at each pixel location.

A nice walk through on the underlying technique of ray tracing is provided by:
https://www.scratchapixel.com/lessons/3d-basic-rendering/minimal-ray-tracer-rendering-simple-shapes

In this assignment you should:
1. Summarize the ray tracing technique.
2. Describe the underlying math equations for a collision between a ray and a sphere.
3. Describe how color values at a pixel are calculated.
4. Describe how the scene is setup.
5. Describe how shadows, reflection, and refraction work in these simulated scenes.
6. Additional discussion on the state of the art in ray tracing. Why has it taken so long for ray tracing to take off? What recent innovations has allowed for the expanded use of ray tracing technology? Is real-time ray tracing a thing?
7. Provide a ray traced image and describe why this image is better or not than a raster-ized image.

You should submit a report (as a Word document) that is as detailed as possible. This is a topic that you are expected to delve into. Additional resources should be used and cited. Submit your detailed report by the due date posted on Blackboard. No late assignments will be accepted.
