 The latest generation of mobile devices are portable enough to carry at all times, connected to voice and data networks, and contextually aware by using sensors and networks to preemptively complete tasks.  Many of today’s mobile applications are personalized, and are not useful if they can only access the data on the phone.  For a user to get, for example, sports scores, retrieve stock quotes, or perform accounting work, the mobile device needs to communicate with one or more servers, starting with the Window servers.

Prompt 1 “Blockchain” (2-3 pages): Explain the major components of blockchain. Be sure to include how blockchain is affecting a global economy and how you see it growing in the future. 

Prompt 2 “Big Data” (1-2 pages): Describe your understanding of big data and give an example of how you’ve seen big data used either personally or professionally. Q.  Today’s businesses rely heavily on data in decision making. Data is collected and stored in the different applications used such as a CRM, ERP, SCM, etc. Data can then be compiled and presented in a dashboard format to better visualize company performance. 

Research different data visualization systems such as Domo, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI. Review how the systems draw data from business databases and how the data needs to be organized or structured in order for it to be used effectively.

Write  500 words or more explaining why “Database STIGs” is important for your peers to understand. Be focused and specific.

Use at least five sources. Include at least 3 quotes from your sources enclosed in quotation marks and cited in-line by reference to your reference list.  Example: “words you copied” (citation) These quotes should be one full sentence not altered or paraphrased. Cite your sources. 

Write in essay format not in bulleted, numbered or other list formats. 

Write a Java program using ArrayList to allow the professor to enter  student’s names, and four test scores for each student. There should be  an option to type “C” when student data entry is complete. Next, display  each student’s name, average score and letter grade. The output should  be sorted by student last name.

Hint: Create a class or data structure hold a student first name,  last name, the student’s 4 test scores, and letter grade. Then create  your ArrayList to hold objects of this type.

After you are done, submit the source code with some screen shots.

Research various MOBILE APPS that are capable of:

In a word document list at least 2 apps for each category listed above.  For a total of  6.
