Write a shell script to locate executable files. This script takes a list of  file names from the command line and determines which would be executed had these names been given as commands. 

Week 5 Assignment Part I  

Assess your network, complete the following interesting and informative exercise to evaluate your current spheres of influence, that is, who it is you choose to associate with and how they impact your life… positively or negatively.

For this Part I, create a blank Word Doc and:

1. Make a list of the family members, friends, co-workers and any other contacts with whom you interact the most or with whom you typically spend the majority of your time.

2. Put a “+” next to each person who inspires, encourages or builds you up as a person. Put a “-” beside every person who is toxic – people who complain, spread rumors, act negatively, have a poor attitude, find the bad in people, whine and criticize your dreams and aspirations.

3. If you cannot determine which category to place the person in, put a question mark.

4. Evaluate the list after you think of as many people as possible.

5. Make a commitment to reduce spending time with the people who have a “-” next to their name.

By following through on this assignment, you now have a blueprint as to which people in your life will truly help you attain your goals and objectives, and which people may be along for the ride.

 You have evaluated an e-commerce Website during the Website Review Assignment, which likely has several usability flaws. For this assignment, you are to recreate a single wireframe based on the Website you’ve reviewed with your team. In this wireframe, you are to include the following critical elements: 

• Header 
• Footer 
• Search
• Navigation
• Consistent Font/Size Ratio
• Appropriate Color Scheme (for those requiring accessibility needs)
• Example of text layout
• Example of image layout
• Example of use of form element inclusion (i.e., button, fields, etc.)

Option 1:

Using the file Longitudinal Survey, subset the data to select only those individuals who lived in an urban area. Reduce the dimensionality of the data by converting numerical variables such as age, height, weight, number of years of education, number of siblings, family size, number of weeks employed, self-esteem scale, and income into a smaller set of principal components that retain at least 90% of the information in the original data. After showing your work, summarize your findings in a paragraph containing no more than five sentences. It should be clear how PCA improved one’s ability to interpret the data. Note: you will need to standardize the data prior to PCA as the scales of the variables are different. 

Show your workings and Summarize the findings.

Option 2: 

Using the file House Price, choose one of the college towns in the data set. Reduce the dimensionality of the data by converting numerical variables such as number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, home square footage, lot square footage, and age of the house into a smaller set of the principal components that retain at least 90% of the information in the original data. Then use the principal components as predictor variables for building two de novo models for predicting sale prices of houses. Summarize each of the two models in two or three sentences each.  

Show your workings and develop models of home prices.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR WINDOWS 11

Installing the latest version of Windows requires your system to meet some minimum requirements.

It must have at least two cores on a compatible 64-bit processor of 1 gigahertz (GHz)

4GB or more of RAM

Storage must be 64 GB or greater

The system firmware supports UEFI and secure boot capabilities

The trusted platform module 2.0 is part of the trusted platform module

The graphics card must be equipped with the WDDM 2.0 driver for DirectX 12 or later

There should be at least a 9-inch diagonal display with 720p and 8-bit colors

An internet connection at high speed and a Microsoft account is required

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 11

To download Windows 11 on your device, connect your device to the charger before you proceed with the steps. Otherwise, it may take a lot of time. Next, connect your device to the charging cord.

• turn on your windows 10 computer
• find the ‘start’ menu and click on it
• now, look for the ‘settings’ menu and click on      it
• find the ‘update and security section and click      on it
• Click on the ‘download windows 11’ option

Windows 11 downloads must be completed on your device before the installation process begins. Once you finish the download process of windows 11 on your device, you can start installing it.

HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 11 UPDATE

You should first ensure your device is connected to the charger and that the download process has been completed before you begin installing Windows 11.

visit the ‘settings’ menu on your windows 10 device

locate the ‘update and security settings on your computer

select the ‘restart the device and install the windows 11 update’ option

choose the ‘restart now’ option and wait for some time

You may need to wait for a long time as windows 11 will take time to complete the installation process. in this period, confirm that electricity is available to charge your computer.

BLACK SCREEN AFTER UPDATING TO WINDOWS 11

It is possible to end up with a black desktop after installing Windows 11. Follow these steps to customize your display.

Step 1: Right-click on the Screen and select personalize from the menu.

Step 2: Select the theme you want to apply. in my example, I have selected windows (light).

Once you have selected the theme you want to apply. it should automatically update.
