CNET  is a great website for technology news and review. Their About Us page  states, “CNET tells you what’s new in tech, culture and science, why it  matters, how it works and what you need. You can depend on CNET  for news, commentary, analysis, features, FAQs, advice, hands-on  reviews, buying guides, amazing photography and fun and informative  videos.”

We  want you to read at least one article or view a video about hardware  (not software). Then write a brief summary (or create a short  presentation) summarizing the article using MS Word or PowerPoint. Brief  means no less than 10 sentences but not more than one page. Make sure  to cite your source properly. 

 Remember  that if the information does not come out of your own head, you need to  cite it.

The term paper it should be of professional quality and be in the format of an IEEE transaction style. Figures must be clear and drawn by you. Proper citation of references must be embedded in the term paper. All term report should be printed in 8.5x11in format, 10 size, time new roman font, two-column, about 8 pages, left, right, top, bottom margin 1 inch, and contain the following:

1. Title page.

2. Abstract (summary of the paper).

3. Introduction (problem motivation, background materials, related work, summary of objectives and methods).

4. (i) Description of existing algorithms/protocols for survey papers; (ii) system model, assumptions, and/or formal problem formulation for research-oriented papers.

5. (i) Comparison among existing algorithms/protocols and discussion on possible

improvements/enhancements; (ii) project results (derivation, proof, justification, or detailed

design/simulation) in one or more numbered sections for research-oriented papers.

6. Conclusions (evaluation of results, suggestions for improvements, or future work).

7. References must follow IEEE Transactions format (at least 10 references). Proper citation of

references must be embedded in the term paper.

Global Warming: Cause and Mitigation

Among the most controversial topics in physical science, global warming has received a great deal of attention during the past decade. Given its great impact on both humans and the environment, lawmakers and scientists must heavily weigh the information that they are presented. Explore this debate in more detail by evaluating both the scientific basis of this phenomenon and the human role in global warming.

Write a three to five (3-5) page paper in which you:

1. Compare and contrast natural versus anthropogenic climate changes. Include at least two (2) specific examples of each.
2. Take a position as to whether or not global warming is taking place. Provide three (3) lines of evidence to support your position.
3. Assess two (2) current mitigation strategies for global warming, such as carbon sequestration, carbon taxing, clean coal technology, higher fuel efficiency standards, and so on. Analyze the effectiveness of this mitigation strategy, as well as its potential costs and policy implications.
4. Speculate on the policy changes that you would propose to help stabilize global climate and determine the business sectors or nations that would be held to more strict standards if you were to implement your proposed policies.
5. Use at least four (4) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

The Tipping Point/Three Rules of Epidemics/Diffusion of Innovation/Great Leap Forward

Consider a system that could function as a Cloud solution. In order  for that system to work as needed, several functional and non-functional  requirements will be needed. 

1. Write a 1-page paper describing at least 3 functional requirements  and 3 non-functional requirements needed for the cloud solution. Your  paper should also:

Background
Understudies in the Journalism II class at Hazelwood East High School in St. Louis, Missouri composed the tales about their friends’ encounters with youngster pregnancy and the effect of the separation. Whenever they distributed the articles in the school-supported and financed paper The Spectrum, the chief erased the pages that contained the tales preceding distribution without telling of the understudies.
