Organizational behavior is the combination of four areas of study—psychology, social psychology, sociology, and anthropology. While each of these areas involves an examination of people and their interactions, the focuses are quite different:

• Psychology studies the mind and how people make decisions.
• Social Psychology examines how people work in groups.
• Sociology explores how systems work within the organization.
• Anthropology examines how culture works within the organization.

Now, assume that you are an organizational consultant and have been asked by a new CEO to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the organization.

This assessment requires you to develop the remaining sections of a comprehensive international business plan for your selected organisation in the new Asian country target market.

The aim is to do further research and analysis to recommend a market entry strategy that will enable the organisation to achieve its objectives in the new market. This includes: identifying market opportunities for the organisation’s products /services recommendations, if any, regarding product/service modification or adaptations required for market success market entry strategy options and recommendation for a preferred option marketing and R&D considerations recommendations regarding production international human resources management (HRM) issues and considerations.

Assume that you have been asked to prepare a visual presentation for the recruitment panel for the position of chief resilience officer in your community. 

First, you will want to locate and review your community’s hazard mitigation plan. If your local jurisdiction does not have a hazard mitigation plan published online, utilize the county-level or parish-level plan, or use the hazard mitigation plan of a nearby jurisdiction. 

Next, create a PowerPoint presentation that shares key points of your evaluation of your community’s hazard mitigation plan. You are not limited to any particular approach but you might (a) compare the local plan to the checklist in the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) hazard mitigation plan review guide, (b) choose a couple of the elements in the review guide checklist for an in-depth evaluation, (c) evaluate the hazard mitigation plan against best practices or the course textbook, or (d) focus on priority hazard mitigation actions that you would take if you are appointed as the chief resilience officer. 

Your presentation must include an assessment of the plan’s strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Support your presentation with one academic reference. 

Your PowerPoint presentation should include speaker notes to support the key concepts on each of the visuals. Include a minimum of three visuals in your presentation. The speaker notes area is where most of the text should exist, and the visual area is where you should provide photos, graphs, screenshots, and other visually interesting information to keep the panel’s attention. Ensure the notes on the title slide will provide a few sentences to frame your approach. 

Your PowerPoint presentation should be a minimum of eight slides in length, not counting the title or reference slides. The presentation must follow APA format.

Congratulations! You have been hired as the first director of human resources (HR) for your organization. You will create this fictional organization, which will then be used in this assignment and future assignments. 

For this assignment, complete the steps listed below.

• First, begin with an introduction that provides the name and basic description of your fictional organization. Include the location (city and state), type of industry, and number of employees.
  • The organization must have 20 or more employees.
  • It must be an organization where unionization and globalization are possible.

In what ways might health literacy affect an agency’s marketing plan to promote health care services or health care delivery? 

Before marketing a health care service or program, health care administrators must first consider the target audience that will most likely use the service or program. In identifying the target audience, the health care administrator also must determine the health literacy of the target audience and devise strategies to market the service or program appropriately within this respective target audience. Therefore, the ability of the target audience to decipher the health message, determine the service or program being offered, and identify how to best access this service or program represents the important considerations that inform how the message should be communicated.

For this Assignment, consider what impact the health literacy of your intended target audience might have on your plan. Reflect on how you will determine your target audience’s health literacy and what considerations you will need to address in your plan.

   Employment insecurity in the United States caused by layoffs and downsizing is experienced by other countries as well. As an HR leader in a multinational corporation, you could be responsible for both expatriate and repatriate employees in many different countries who are concerned about their careers. You realize that most of your expatriates normally have a greater degree of flexibility, autonomy, and independent decision-making while working abroad than their counterparts in the U.S.
