Select a small business with which you are familiar. Imagine that you have been called into that business to provide a consultation on training. Create a comprehensive training proposal for the business.

Write a 6–8 page paper in which you:

  1. Analyze key elements of training and development geared toward improving the performance of the specific small business for which you are consulting.
  2. Predict 3–5 potential challenges that the managers or owners of the business could face in addressing organizational performance.
  3. Justify the effects of detecting organizational gaps in small business, providing examples to explain the rationale.
  4. Propose a competitive training strategy that will improve the position of the business in the market. The strategy should include, at a minimum, an agenda of training activities, rationale for instructional strategies used, and the return on investment (ROI) that will be gained from the strategy you have developed.

 First, I would question the sources of the document and the authenticity that comes along with it.

 The third question which is very important is considering the benefits package that is associated with the actual signing of the document.   

I would seek the position of the firm concerning the leaflet introduced.   Even though labor relations has been authorized in every working environment, the independence of the Labor is subject to organization doctrine, culture and models of work

In case of withdrawal processes, I would be very determined to understand procedures set aside by the union. The cost associated, any submission and deduction needed should be well communicated.

 The five significant questions would give me the assurance and security tenure of signing the document or no.  If it does not meet the minimum threshold, I will turn down. It’s advisable to shun away from unclear processes and signing (Best, 2010).

What has everyone involved in material handling and warehouse management salivating are radio frequency identification technology systems that are made up of three components – an antenna or coil, a transceiver and a transponder, usually in the form of a tag. Future warehouse management technologies will perform functions impossible today, including finite scheduling and the process sequencing of orders, allowing the operation to take advantage of its capacities while managing its constraints. Those constraints will include labor, physical space, yard capacity, order mix and value added processing, a factor that will loom large in warehouses to come.

Apply current and previous learnings in OB to support successful facilitation of groups within an organization. For your paper, you must identify and defend best practices in Performance Management and Compensation of groups/teams in organizations. For example, as the HR expert, would you recommend some practices over others to ensure teams successfully meet their objectives? Also, would these practices depend on the culture or strategy of the organization? What role does socialization practices play?
