Read Case 3: Altex Corporation in the case study section of your text. Write a summary of the case and answer the following questions from the end of the case.   

  • Why was a risk management plan considered unnecessary?
  • Should risk management planning be performed in the proposal stage or after contract award, assuming that it must be done?
  • Does the customer have the right to expect the contractor to perform risk analysis and develop a risk management plan if it is not called out as part of the contractual statement of work?

Several Big Data Visualization tools have been evaluated in this week’s paper.  While the focus was primarily on R and Python with GUI tools, new tools are being introduced every day.  Compare and contrast the use of R vs Python and identify the pros and cons of each. Provide an example of both programming languages with coding examples as well as your experience in using one or both programming languages in professional or personal work. If you have no experience with either language, please discuss how you foresee using either/both of these languages in visualizing data when analyzing big data.

Have you ever tried to understand the motivation behind a person’s actions or habits? Or perhaps questioned a technique or approach a professional might use when working with a client? Write a paper that summarizes how the Internet may affect public opinion in a positive or negative way with regards to brand reputation. Select a well-known brand (i.e. Nike or Microsoft) and discuss the current state of public opinion using the Internet as your research tool.
